Oreo Bits Sandwiches Matcha Green Tea Latte Review

Japan has so many awesome Oreo flavors, and I was lucky enough to be able to purchase these Oreo Bits Sandwiches in Matcha Latte flavor. I'm a huge fan of anything combining chocolate and green tea!

The bag comes in at around 250 calories. The size is 60 grams. So, that's not too bad for cookies!

The cookies are the exact same size as the Oreo mini cookies in the US, which is what I was expecting from this product.

I had to open it up and get a closer look at the filling! They are filled with a very rich green color!

Taste

The taste of these are super amazing. Being a huge fan of matcha, I thought these were highly addictive. I just kept eating and eating! The taste of the filling is very rich, so if you don't like matcha, you won't like these.

Scent and Texture

These just smell like Oreos. If you've somehow never had an Oreo... they smell of chocolate.

Repurchase?

Oh yes! I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm tempted to go order some more now. >__<

Overall

9/10. While they aren't the perfect cookie, these things are addictive and taste pretty amazing to a matcha fan. I love chocolate. I love matcha. I love Oreos. This is a winning combination to me. I won't give them a perfect score, because there ARE better cookies out there, but dang, these are good! I wish I could buy them locally.

Pokemon Sapporo Ichiban Ramen Noodle Cup Review

In Japan, there are Pokemon snacks and food everywhere. Sadly, elsewhere in the world, we can't go to the store and buy Pokemon stuff like this. I wish we could because my pantry would totally be filled with it. :( Thankfully, Japanese sellers sell this ramen online!

This noodle cup is about 68 grams and is only 157 calories! It makes a great lunch or snack. In Japan, the cost is about 128 Yen, but I got this for $1.57 from Candysan. That markup is more than reasonable!

The appeal of this ramen are the Pokemon kamaboko inside. The kamaboko are a fish product with designs on them. The kamaboko in this cup have little Pokemon faces, which is super cute.

Another appeal of this ramen are the collectible stickers! Each cup has a different sticker inside!

Cooking the ramen is easy. Just fill the cup with hot water and let it sit for 3 minutes. Once it is done, you'll get something like this:

Doesn't it look cute and tasty? :D sadly, one half of a Pikachu head for cut off. XD I had to stir for quite awhile to get those two pieces on top, but there are several more floating around there somewhere.

Taste

The taste is pretty good. The noodles are thick and the broth does taste salty and somewhat like soy sauce. It kinda tastes like your standard noodle cup, so yeah, it isn't bad. The little pieces are slightly rubbery, but I thought they were pleasant.

Scent and Texture

Like I mentioned, the noodles are thick. The texture is... normal. It has the mouth feel of, um, ramen. Yeah, nothing more to say about that. I didn't really smell much of anything, maybe soy sauce and salt.

Repurchase?

Definitely yes. These are cheap enough and I feel they are the perfect size for me. A lot of times, I am overwhelmed by the size of noodle cups. I love ramen, but I don't eat it much because it is high in calories. This little cup solves that problem!

Overall Rating

I am giving this a 7/10. While it tastes pretty standard, I give it extra points for the size and the little Pikachu heads. :p It's really fun and the right portion for me. The cups are awesome. Getting a sticker doesn't hurt either!

Oreo Blueberry Soft Cookie Review

This is my very first post on the blog and what better way to start it than with Oreos?! Like Kit-Kats, Japan has a lot of neat and exclusive Oreo flavors. This is one of the newest - the Blueberry Oreo Soft Baked Cookie. It's an Oreo sandwich cookie with cream and blueberry filling, which gives a twist on the traditional flavor.
